Having written six Billboard chart-topping topping songs, performed her own and other’s musicals internationally and off-Broadway, and studied with Marcia Haufrecht of the Actor’s Studio, as well as Katie Agresta of the Bel Canto vocal tradition, Dana is a confident and competent guide. She started out in Dance studying Ballet at North Carolina High School of the Arts, then Boston Conservatory for Musical Theater, and then on to Berklee College of Music for her degree in composition and performance.

McCoy still enjoys a full performing schedule so she’s got a lot of practical and current experience to offer.  She particularly enjoys helping people shine far beyond their own expectations. Her students have ranged from people who’ve never performed before, to those who’ve gone on to receive scholarships, awards, and bright professional careers.

Sessions available in NYC or via SKYPE/Facetime.
