Featherweight Productions is a boutique company that’s produced outstanding creative work in NYC since 1990; theatre, post production (editing and scoring) for television and film, live music events and on.

Dana McCoy – Founder and Producing Director

Dana McCoy is a chart- topping songwriter, singer/performer, playwright and producer. For decades she has consistently turned out award-winning product both independently and for corporate clients such as Virgin, Miramax and MTV.

McCoy’s most recent rock musical, LILY the TIGER garnered kudos at the world’s largest solo theatre festival, United Solo in NYC, winning Best Song and Best Musical in 2024. Her recent credits also include, “Best Original Score” and “Best Composer” awards at festivals in Cannes, NY, Boston, LA and Toronto. She’s held recording contracts with Virgin, EMI and Columbia and topped Billboard Charts worldwide.

Janet Murphy Robertson – Development Producer

Janet Murphy Robertson is the Executive Director and Founder of ArtistsAndMusicians.org, the producer of Shoestring Virtual Theater, as well as documentaries, stage plays, concerts, and other cultural events. Janet has filmed and produced the documentary Icons of the Civil Rights Movement, helping to put the spotlight on Pamela Chatterton-Purdy’s magnificent art exhibition by this name. She is also the documentarian for Zion Union Heritage Museum in Hyannis, MA and researched, wrote, narrated, filmed, and produced Journeys in the Light, the 400-year history of people of color on Cape Cod.

Jon Asher – Business Manger

Jon served as an officer of the Navy during Viet Nam, retired as a director from IBM after 30 years, has grown several mid size and start up IT companies into large, lucrative businesses, and currently serves on the advisory committee of the historic town he calls home in New England.

Rikki Bates – In-house Producer/Engineer/Mixer

Rikki is known for drumming with the internationally acclaimed band, The Incredible Casuals with records released on Rounder and Elvis Costello’s British label, Demon. The Rolling Stones’ review of their album

“That’s That” produced by Bates said “Up in heaven, Keith Moon is no doubt, delighted.” Rikki also plays with The Chandler Travis Philharmonic, and formerly of Space Pussy.

Rikki is the queen of Beauty Bar Recording Studio, Orleans, MA
